The plan: leave land for wildlife.
The idea: help buy a defined area and leave it for wildlife instead of turning every available square metre into something billable. No luxury pods. No branded obstacle course. The nettles will have to find their own sponsors.
I want this to happen. There is no dedicated land offer or protected parcel claimed here yet. General support is not ring-fenced wildlife funding.
How the wildlife area would be cared for
“Untouched forever” is not a responsible promise to make from a website. A future plan would allow necessary habitat restoration, invasive-species control, safety work and legal duties, guided by local expertise.
The wildlife area would be separate from managed farm space. Sponsoring a cow would not buy grazing rights there. Cats and dogs would not receive unrestricted access either.
What has to exist before anybody pays for this?
- A defined parcel or acquisition criteria, budget, funding deadline and permitted use.
- A clear allocation policy, progress reporting and remedy if acquisition fails.
- A practical long-term management and protection arrangement, including what happens if ownership changes.
- Evidence of what was acquired and done—not a generated forest or an invented count of species saved.
No land shares, offsets, ownership, access rights or guaranteed wildlife sightings. We cannot schedule a badger.
